Chip Freed

Chip Freed serves as the Lead Pastor of Garfield Memorial Church in Cleveland, Ohio – a national
teaching church in the Multiethnic Church Movement. Chip has led two homogeneous churches through
exponential growth, numerically and spiritually, to become healthy multiethnic congregations honoring
God’s Core Values of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Transformation and Reconciliation. One was the oldest
historical African-American Church in Lorain County, Ohio and the other is a former Caucasian suburban
church on Cleveland’s East Side. Chip is CQ Certified to lead CQ training and currently leads the Mosaix
initiated doctoral cohort at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH—“Pursuing the Revelation 7:9
Church.”
