Bernard Emerson

Bernard Emerson is a proud native and resident of Oakland, CA. Bernard works with Urban Churches developing and partnering with local churches and coaching indigenous leaders. Passionate about the local church and serving under resourced urban areas, Bernard planted Tapestry Church in Oakland (June 2018) together with Kyle Brooks. He and Kyle also host the “Multiracial Ministry Mindset Podcast.” In his free time, Bernard loves to mentor “at risk” young men and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. A father of five, he has been married to his wife, Kim, for 29 years.
