Kyle Brooks

Kyle’s passion for multiethnic ministry began in Tecate, Mexico, serving with his all-white church alongside their Mexican brothers and sisters across the border. Through his studies at Calvin Seminary, he grew to believe that God’s passion has always been to create a multiethnic people from Abraham until now. Today, Kyle is the Executive Pastor at Tapestry Church in East Oakland, CA, a merger-plant of the predominantly white church he had planted and a predominantly black church planted by Bernard Emerson, now Lead Pastor of Tapestry. He and Bernard also host the “Multiracial Ministry Mindset Podcast.” Kyle and his incredible wife, Stephanie, live in the beautiful Fruitvale District of Oakland.
